There are many reasons that rep theatre The Bloor Cinema thrives as other similar movie houses shut down, one by one.
No doubt one of the reasons is that it screens classic "popcorn" movies. I may have seen Total Recall, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jaws a gazillion times, but I'm still willing to see them again, occasionally.
Especially when I can see them on the big screen, munching on good (and not atrociously expensive) popcorn.
All three are screening this week, BTW, at various times.
