Daisy In The Rain

For those of you who don't live in Toronto, it has been raining all summer. Period.
Last summer seemed soggy, definitely, and the rainfall broke records in 2008.
But this summer seems worse. Maybe the lack of heat? Or maybe it's that we've had less inches of rainfall, but it threatens to rain virtually every day? I can't find statistics about this summer yet.
Either way, I'm tired of trying to embrace it by saying things like, "Oh, well! It's good for the garden." And "At least it's better than smoggy, scorching days."
Sunny optimism (pun intended) has to run out at some point.
My last kick at the can is this: "It makes for some pretty pictures."
Cheers,
Vanessa
